Animoca Brands Secures Final Abu Dhabi Approval for Fund Management

Animoca Brands has received final approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Abu Dhabi to manage investment funds. The regulator granted a Financial Services Permission to the company’s subsidiary, Animoca Asset Management (AD) Limited, allowing it to operate collective investment funds within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

This authorization follows an in-principle approval granted in November 2025, which came with conditions that prevented the company from running funds until final permission was secured. The move establishes Animoca’s second regulated presence in the UAE this year, complementing a license obtained from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) in February 2026.
